Monitor choice is only half the equation.

Unless you have a correctly treated room your never going to get a accurate response no matter what the speaker.

If you cant treat your room i would recommend put some cash towards a decent set of headphones such as the HD650's.

Monitor choice really is a personal preference at this price bracket. I must stress though that you will need to get some decent acoustic treatment otherwise the sound will be just as unreliable as not using monitors.
