After going to my mates studio a number of time to check out his working methods, Ive recently started using Nuendo4 (pretty much Cubase). Its so much better for mixing down my Ableton projects. My tracks sound so much cleaner and I seem to have a lot more control over the mixdown. They also seem to...

Both your tracks are really cool on your Soundcloud page. I do prefer the Huckaby version but thats only because I love my deep house a bit funkier but yours is really good too. Both use the sample quite simply just layering drums over the top but to good effect. Its like having a loopier trackier v...

Started DJing in 1999.
Started learning Ableton 5 - 2007.
First release was a track licensed to a compilation CD - 2008.
Should have my first proper release, a 2 track EP, by the end of 2009.

I've got a Samson C-Control which is a cheaper version of the big knob and sounds like it could do the job.

It costs about £80-100 brand new and had a decent write up in Sound on Sound. If you check ebay you should be able to pick one up for betweeen £10 - 30.

I would say dont release anything your not 100% happy with. Ive only released 2 tracks. The first I got a bit excited about as it was the first release that received interest from a label but was unfinished and the second was a remix I wasnt happy with but released it as there was a deadline. In hin...
