Just wondering what kind of spec and model laptops you are using for producing.
I'm using Ableton and reason.
I was thinking of getting a Dell precision.
What kind of laptop are you using?

If you want to use your laptop for stuff other then music too then do yourself a favor and get a PC with a numerical keypad. Macbooks are so frustrating to work with. If you ever have to enter a lot of numerical data you have to switch to an alternate button function mode or you have to hunt and peck along the numbers on the top row. The alternate number functions are hard to read when you are in a hurry and awkwardly placed. The operations keys (*+-/) are hard to find too.
My personal frustrations with macbookpro... That and I dont think there are any good firewalls for mac that allow you to control outgoing internet traffic. Macs are lame like that.
