They are on hardware (at least when playing live) and a big hardware setup!

Last time i saw them play live for the beatport 10 liveacts party, they were 100% soft, with 2 xone4D and a few other things i could'nt see, but no more mixtable and such.
Was very disappointed of the sound too btw. Musically they were far from what i had already heard. Maybe they need to adjust to their new setup ?

i saw them playing soft only in berlin a few times. just the xone and laptop...
btw they have a new album lined up as son kite....very curious to here it.

both were trained as classical musicians before they started son-kite (i think they had some other projects before that too). What gets my sh!t going now is their IMPS project on Mule Japan.

and for op, i think they get their signature sound from a moog voyager (hitchhikers choice main synth, jamaica..)
