Zigzag Collective is the new addition on Multi Vitamins’ digital series reaching number 15.
MVD15 aka “Unusual Romanian” EP is an album strict in manner that features an outlandish collection of sounds.
“Sweet Chaos” kicks off with an overbearing intro while operating more traditional organs with eerie vocals. Complete with a simple but shimmering groove that glows.
“Romanian border” begins in a furtive style but its organs lead to a “restricted area” with more going on than what you hear. Imagine Romanian countryside with a strong sound system and you might feel a need to escape in a different existence.
“Usual Love” adds a spontaneous vibe with its soft but seductive percussion, promising snaky, earthy moves. A hybrid of patterns that establish the track’s strong presence, pouring a bit of magic.
So the resulting EP is? Jerky folklore electronic beats, modified at all times and leading to a delicious unique sound. It’s a sound you need to first taste and then realize its conception is a twisting and very groovy division.
