Already last year this Combination turned out to be a veritable Dream Team: The enthusiastic feedback of our fans, a gorgeous location and the host qualities of Mülheim made it unavoidable to continue our success story. But PollerWiesen wouldn’t be PollerWiesen if we just tried to do a simple repeat of something that has been inimitable. Instead of cooking on low heat we will add fuel to the fire!
A brief look on the massively expanded DJ-LineUp of PollerWiesen 2010 at Ruhr should be adequate to appeal your pleasant anticipation:
Adam Beyer who, between Cari Lekebusch and Joel Mull, is Sweden’s major Techno-pioneer and Mastermind of the tradition-steeped Drumcode-Label has already commended himself as the 1st Class Dance floor-striker at the c/o pop fair 2009 in Cologne. Now he brings his as original as genuine Techno-spirit to the Ruhr Area in order to put the Crowd in a flurry with one of his impulsive sets. Not just as our Headliner of the hearts Adam has been our very first choice for PollerWiesen Ruhr 2010 and we are more than happy being able to welcome him as the Front man for a splashy LineUp.
Have we been talking about splashy? Also Dominik Eulberg and Gabriel Ananda shouldn’t be unpopular anymore, since they can prove already impressive careers at 1st row Party-frontline. The raving Ornithologist with a liability to a Hookline in its natural state as well as the Mozart of Techno from the Rhine are famous for thrilling melodies, tight foot-achievement and large suspense. Both of them have assisted a various number of Labels to chart breaking releases and razed international Dance Floors to the ground, their Names stand for success!
After collaborative Studio Productions which have been released on Traum Schallplatten, Dominik and Gabriel are now ready to enter the Stage as Day Team and you could classify this already beforehand as the Highlight of this years season. Further highlights will also not be missing: You are allowed to eagerly wait for DJ Sets of Cassy who is resident of Berlin’s world-famous Panoramabar in Berghain and mistress over tausendundeinen Groove, as well as Shonky, the almost horrifying charismatic French, whose skills in the Studio and on the Decks of his Labelhomebase Freak’ N Chick lead him to worldwide fame.
Poller Wiesen Column Tobias Becker will put the icing on the cake. Spoiled by success he is Cofounder of Platzhirsch Schallplatten and blessed with an amazingly sense for the DanceFloor: It’s not for nothing that his deep, fundamental Techno- and House-sets lead him to the Metropolis of Nightlife.
There’s more to it than that and since so much DJ-Glory needs Space and Time, this year PollerWiesen gives the Ruhr to even two Floors. Only that way it’s possible to have Dr. Motte’s pleasure. Dr. Motte is founder of the LoveParade and a DJ-Legend in his own right. Energectic to his side will be Jens Ohlen and Subsonic Park, who will top the 2nd floor off musically.
The one and only Venue for Pollerwiesen Ruhr 2010 can just be the Naturbad Styrum.
The wonderfully beautiful area with a huge meadow surrounded by shadow-spending trees is one Mulheim’s main attractions and sparks locals as well as travellers with summerly vibes.
Already last year PollerWiesen and the Crowd felt completely contented here and also this year a superb party in middle of nature is waiting for out guests. This is PollerWiesen’s perfect opportunity to give something back to you, since it are the PollerWiesen Fans from the Ruhr who are surprising with their tireless enthusiasm always once more. No distance seems to be too far for them, no location is unreachable.

Should the weather on May 23 be unpleasant, we have an alternative date on May 24. In that case both Location and LineUp will not change. No matter what happens, PollerWiesen is prepared.
