After about a month of trying to figure out what it is with all these leads,
I'm sure its a lot simpler then I think (probably right under my nose)
But are all these dirty dutch leads just pitch tuned? The example I'm about to show isnt dirty dutch (its deadmau5) but how do you hit tones like this?

i don't like the music. but anyways.
nothing complicated happening in the track. no magic tools... stuff you would find in any DAW and hardware or software synth.
The lead sound is several voices of subtractive synth. square or saw. lots of modulation of filter cutoff. maybe with automation or LFO or both.
