It's not really about being famous, it's about being the best person for a job.
You might get the worlds greatest hairdresser, and he gives you a crazy banana shaped weave, when all you really wanted was a really fresh short back and sides!
The trick is always to look into your inspirations, music that instinctively JUST SOUNDS GOOD, then go onto discogs and find out who worked on it, if it's out of your price range, perhaps drop them a line anyway, ask if they have any ideas of someone who could help.
