breaks djing question

Post by ewinz »

Ive got a nice one that you can joke about, but still,
I produce much more than I dj. My question is, how to get people alive and not bored with the breaks in every single tracks. Thanks for the one who will not make fun of my question and advice me

Just make it eventful (ex. introduce a new sound, automate etc).

Easier said than done, I know.

From the title of your post it sounds like you're asking how to make the DJ set more interesting and not have people bored with track after track of breaks. I'd say to vary the types of break beat styles so that you have some that are perhaps more electro, maybe with some dub-steppy stuff and then more funk-breaks type of stuff. Variety is the spice of life!
