Is anyone else as tired of them as i am?
It seems that every god damn release these days has either one or a bunch of those fvckers complaining about prices on records they've missed out on because they were too busy wanking or downloading David Guetta's greatest hits.

Well, i agree about timeless releases but..if something more-or-less-nice goes around 2quids till the day before someone plays it (maybe you even have it in wantlist or cart since months) and then flies to 30.. i'd complain a bit tbh. true story.
now slap me if you want

What's the point, though?LSTL wrote:i'd complain a bit tbh. true story.
Discogs doesn't care.
Artists/labels have no influence on Discogs prices either... In most cases anyway, especially if a record's old.
And the sellers don't give a flying fvck about your whinging.
So you're just being an annoying little prick.
In fact, i believe that people complaining about the prices actually drives the prices up.

sabotaged self-fulled prophecies.
I'm sure there's a lot of truth in that.breton wrote: actually drives the prices up.

Actually nobody cares about the complain, and i didn't mean complain to someone..just feeling myself annoyed of smth that maybe couldn't happen (but you know, you cant buy immediately EVERY record you come across), thats all.breton wrote:What's the point, though?LSTL wrote:i'd complain a bit tbh. true story.

Everyone in this world wants to make money somehow, and for some people record market is becoming a nice business. And maybe it happens like "oh, no samples of this record online..price is 25€..maybe zip played, must be bomb! *click* " .. there can be hundred reasons to make that happen.. but only who buys overpriced records increases the trend.

Re: Wankers complaining about prices on Discogs
It's indeed tiresome to see every other record page littered with comments like REPRESS PLZZZ/FCK THE GREEDY SELLERS. I used to complain about it when i started using Discogs. After a while you just start to care less and just continue to look for other good and less hyped records.
You are not a wanker though if you are angry that you have to pay 80Euro's for a 5 Euro record because Occidental (example) discovered he had the last one online. You can't buy every you come across immediately. Discogs is a blessing and a curse.
