Best Production Software to start on
ive used every DAW, ableton is by far the most easy to get to grips with , logic learnig curve is far too high, doin simple thing in logic takes forever compared to ableton , the only thing i like about logic are the built in effects , for electronic music ableton is by far the best option , thats why the majority of the leading techno producers are using it, logic is just long

Some DAWs are considered less than professional, but whatever. If Reason or Ableton look good, then go for it. Many excellent tracks are made without Logic, Pro Tools, or Cubase.
My first daw was orion, then storm...loads and loads of pre-made stuff..I still believe in Orion though...synapse audio I think

that's with what I did my first loop, it was in excell class, wow, getting personal now XDtone-def wrote:my first computer music experience was with something like ejay. there were a load of pre made loops that you dragged into the timeline. it was on my school computers and i'd spent most lunch times in the computer room arranging pre made beats. that was about 10 years ago.
