Post by sorgenkind »

hey guys,

I'm quite sure all of you have experienced some creativity disp, like you are sitting in front of your gear but no idea comes out.
What do you do to overcome such situations?

go for a walk in the woods/country, get back to nature, sounds wierd but it helps me massively. I have to leave london for a couple of weeks every 2 or 3 months just to recharge

massive seconding.

+ what the new guy said... never force it. music is a nature thing, it's not supposed to be forced. all the good things come to those who wait.

Start making a different form of music, such as rock or classical. See what you can do within that style, then either continue working on the track until its finished or let your more experiment side start messing and with it.
