DAN BELL
(Accelerate / 7th City / Klang / Elevate / Tresor / Logistic / Perlon / Poker Flat / Transmat / ~scape)

While living in Detroit during the 90's, Daniel Bell created a new musical vocabulary for techno music based on "Blips" and "Bleeps" and streamlined repetetive rhythms. His music went on to influence a generation of producers from Josh Wink and Richie Hawtin to the minimal house sound in Germany. Best known for his timeless classic "Losing Control" and releases on his label "Accelerate".

saw dan play a 3 hr set in a small venue in london a couple years ago...

its still one of the best sets I've heard, not because of technical mixing skills, but because of *perfect* track selection... slowly building over the entire set...

Came out feeling cleansed...

Awesome, wish I could be there...

yeah he's definately a favorite DJ and Producer of mine.
VERY proud to host him here.
Troy Pierce in Jan, Heartthrob in Feb, and Dirtybird Records showcase in March.
