low dark voice

hi guys,
Quick question, i want to make a low dark sounding voice that is often heard in techno/mnml. With which vst can i achieve this? i use ableton.

Just... transpose the vocals down until they sound good to you?

More important than transposing the vocal, you need to choose the right vocalist.

duplicate, pitch one down an octave, eq one pan left, eq other, distort, pan right. a bit of delay. reverb. use your imagination. most important thing is the source sample.
