saw one for about $200
I remember them being really popular in the 90's
any comments, anyone experienced with them...

i heard very good things about them apart from looking ugly the demos sound very good!
its all about the rhythm

They sound pretty dang good.

The interface is annoying to me because there are a lot of options and few knobs/buttons. Menu diving is inevitable for complex tones... that being said the synth is capable of quite a lot.

I bought mine in '96 or '97, still love it to bits. It's one of the deepest synths ever made. The interface isn't bad, but as there are so many parameters, it can be confusing till you get your head around it's stucture.

Totally worth $200


Try and get one with the last o/s (2.0) and avoid anything before 1.3. Mines 1.3 and it's ok except for midi sync on the arp is dodgy.
