sample rate probem

For some reason my sample rate wont change in ableton. It's stuck at 22 and
the box in Audio preferences is now “grey’ed” out and it won’t let me change it. When I close Ableton and change it on my soundcard it stays, but as soon as I open Ableton I hear a click through my speakers and it changes itself back.

Anyone know why it is doing this?

hmm, can you change the sample rate in the soundcard software settings? Or in windows?
Have you tried using the built-in soundcard or a different one? Does it do the same thing?
If its greyed out its could be other software is overiding the setting...

Hope you get it sorted, nothing worse when you want to get creative

I change it on my maudio delta soundcard, but then when i open up ableton I hear a big click through my speakers and it changes back.
