Is there a point of processing thru a computer a analog DM?

Post by XIII NRV »

Hey Guys, hope all of you are good ! Well, I'm thinking of buying a Jomox xbase, as I'm getting fedup with all computer daws, I want to tweak knobs again :) ... But as Is there a point of sampling my jomox, and processing it thru vst's Eq etc etc...It'll be cheaper to get the samples right ?
Thanks :)

if your only going to sample individual hits then your probably wasting your money.

You can bring the jomox in as a live audio track and still use your daw for effects etc.

depends if you are going to sample single hits or record several bars of each hit. Its not worth it if you are just going to sample an single hit then sequence the samples.
with the jomox you get a lot of control over the sounds, so you might not need your eq's etc..
